Is Loopwise free?
Yes. Every design in its standard sizes, the row counter, all calculators and charts, the lessons and your own PDF patterns are free. Paid plans add custom sizes for every design, unlimited pattern checks, sync between devices and grading into sizes. See Pricing.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works without one and is saved on this device. An account is only for keeping the same projects on your phone and computer.
Where is my work saved?
In this browser, on this device. If you sign in, a copy is kept on our server so your other devices get it. Clearing the browser’s data removes the copy on the device, so make a backup in Settings from time to time.
Does it work without the internet?
Yes. Once a page has opened, it works offline. On a phone you can add Loopwise to the home screen and use it like an app.
US or UK crochet terms?
Both. Every crochet design can be written in US or UK terms, and the pattern checker finds out which terms a pattern uses.
Is the pattern checker always right?
It counts the stitches of every row and compares them with the count the pattern gives. When a line is worded in an unusual way it is marked “to check” instead of guessing, so read the note under that line.
Do you upload my PDF patterns?
No. The PDF opens on your device and never leaves it. Only your ticks are saved, and they sync if you have an account. See My PDF pattern.
How do I cancel a paid plan?
Open Your account and press “Change or cancel your plan”. Your plan stays on until the end of the time you paid for. Your projects are never deleted.
I paid but my plan did not change.
Sign in with the same email you used at checkout, then press “I just paid: refresh” on Your account. If it still says Free, write to us on Contact us and we will fix it.
I found a mistake in a pattern.

Which languages does Loopwise speak?
English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Japanese. Patterns can be shown in your language or in the original English.
